COSTA MESA, Calif. -- January 22, 2010 -- SYSPRO USA, the leading provider of visionary, pragmatic ERP software, has today again reaffirmed the company's commitment to selling its comprehensive ERP software solution through a VAR channel. As a privately held company, SYSPRO is able to focus on customer and VAR relationships rather than the interest of shareholders.
According to SYSPRO USA President Joey Benadretti, the company continues to enhance its award winning SYSPRO Reseller Program, adding numerous benefits for the channel, including expanded company/VAR communications, a greater number of educational sessions, enhanced marketing support and more resources to obtain qualified leads.
"SYSPRO is one of a handful of vendors that has always been successful and committed to selling its product through a reseller channel. Since its inception in 1978, SYSPRO has been channel driven, relying on resellers for sales and to assist the company in providing outstanding post-sales customer support," says Benadretti. "SYSPRO is unswerving in its goal to continue building a roster of the industry's most outstanding resellers. The SYSPRO Reseller Program far surpasses the norm in the enterprise software market, and we are supplementing our channel with strategic business partners that wish to accelerate success by combining their expertise with that of SYSPRO."
Benadretti points out that SYSPRO is a supplier that recognizes the needs of resellers, noting that SYSPRO's single product offering -- a best-of-breed, fully integrated supply chain solution -- enables SYSPRO resellers to rapidly become proficient in the software and build successful, viable reseller businesses.
Benadretti notes, "Industry consolidation has forced resellers to represent multiple products by default, resulting in insufficient product expertise, conflicts and confusing overlaps. Many software products that vendors have in their arsenal are no longer competitive in today's business environment. When you have a winning channel, the sage advice is to commit to it and support it. SYSPRO has always had an outstanding reseller channel and remains committed to having the finest channel in the industry," he said.
Benadretti lists some of the benefits enjoyed by SYSPRO resellers: Dedicated assistance in business development and sales; Proactive interaction with the SYSPRO Customer Service Department; Direct and easy access to senior management; Top technical support and services; Classroom education with ongoing follow through; Leading edge SYSPRO Learning Channel education including broadcasts and a comprehensive 24/7 library that bring e-learning to the desktop; The SYSPRO Support Zone that ensures up-to-date product information and knowledge; The Sales Zone that provides customer and focused vertical industry information; Regional portals that serve region specific requirements; Marketing assistance for a variety of activities; Regular product updates and newsletters, including a dedicated newsletter for Reseller owners; Knowledge driven conferences with events in the United States and abroad; and, The SYSPRO award-winning STARS Implementation Methodology.
Concludes Benadretti, "The competition from giant software companies seeking to gain a foothold in the smaller and mid-size market where SYSPRO has enjoyed its greatest successes necessitates that we offer the best Reseller Program in the industry and work diligently with our resellers to help each win right out of the block. The success of the SYSPRO Reseller Program is not only due to an abundance of available resources, but also because it is based on the SYSPRO corporate culture and core branding values of Integrity, Innovation, Responsiveness, Uniqueness, Simplicity and World Class Software and Service."
Benadretti summarizes, "SYSPRO offers its resellers all the ingredients for success."
SYSPRO recently released a thought-provoking paper that outlines the company's long-term commitment to and understanding of the needs of its world class ERP Channel. To access "The ERP Resellers' Guide to Selecting the Right ERP Software Vendor," please go to:

New SYSPRO release heralds quantum leap forward in ERP Software
New SYSPRO release heralds quantum leap forward in ERP Software
JOHANNESBURG -- February 4, 2010 -- SYSPRO, a leading, worldwide provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, announced today an upcoming major new release of SYSPRO ERP software. SYSPRO 6.1 represents a quantum leap forward, "simplifying success" with new architecture and modules, feature sets, workflow and customization capabilities. This newest SYSPRO release fully leverages SYSPRO's knowledge of the ERP needs of the mid-market, having successfully served the segment for more than 30 years. SYSPRO 6.1 enables mid-market manufacturers and distributors to gain all the benefits of leading-edge ERP software even though they may possess limited resources and skills.
According to SYSPRO CEO Phil Duff, "SYSPRO 6.1, which contains over a thousand new customer-requested features and functions, continues our success in matching our software development with industry trends and customer needs, including "green orientation." It exemplifies SYSPRO's long standing policy of seeking customer inputs at every level to ensure that our software enhancements maximize the customers' competitive advantages in their respective markets. This constant focus on the customer is a key reason why SYSPRO customer retention is among the highest in the industry.
"This upcoming release contains a strong focus on corporate governance and sustainability and also reflects the importance of Lean as evidenced in our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Business Processes Modeling (BPM) solutions. Version 6.1 greatly enhances the user experience, contributing to enormous gains in overall productivity."
With the range of functionality built into the product and accessible via a single SYSPRO portal, companies need never go outside of SYSPRO to gain increased operational effectiveness. With SYSPRO 6.1 SOA can be easily achieved and entire processes can be automated, greatly enhancing productivity at all levels.
SYSPRO 6.1 encourages fiscal responsibility with improved Enterprise Performance Management in the form of enhanced Executive Dashboards and Analytics, Boardroom Quality Reporting plus Cash Flow Reporting and Forecasting. These features provide real-time, at-a-glance visibility of all aspects of the organization enabling strategic and proactive decisions.
SYSPRO 6.1 also elevates Business Process Management to a new level with the introduction of SYSPRO Enterprise Analysis Modeling, Monitoring and Management (SEAM3), which combines SYSPRO Workflow Services, SYSPRO Process Modeling and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). SEAM3 produces a rapid, high ERP ROI by elevating operational efficiencies to new levels through the consideration of a company's unique business process requirements and by automatically aligning and re-energizing them during the ERP implementation phase and by enabling future business process remodelling necessitated by changing market conditions.
In his last major speech as Microsoft CEO, Bill Gates stated, "People are very interested in a simpler way of navigating information..." SYSPRO 6.1 greatly simplifies information navigation, expanding on the innovative, highly configurable SYSPRO Fluid Interface (FI) that allows users to easily modify the behavior of any SYSPRO application to gain required information and extend business functionality. The new FI is designed to adapt and change as requirements evolve, giving the user complete freedom to view any required information within any SYSPRO application without the need for programming skills. In addition, SYSPRO Power Tailoring allows users to modify the behavior of any SYSPRO application and to add business functionality without requiring development skills. SYSPRO 6.1 also allows users to present information in a graphical and aesthetically-pleasing approach. The end result is a highly personalized, configurable system designed to adapt and change as requirements evolve.
SYSPRO 6.1 includes the final phase of the Inventory Optimization Suite, the Inventory Optimizer. The embedded Optimizer is unique in a mid-size ERP system, and along with improved Warehouse and Quality Management functionality provides the ability for companies to recover from the economic downturn as leaner, more efficient organizations.
Brian Stein, CEO, SYSPRO USA, notes, "SYSPRO 6.1 is one of the most comprehensive, single source and pragmatic ERP solutions on the market. It gives mid-market manufacturers and distributors a fully integrated solution that enables greater insight into their operations with all the tools needed to successfully compete. Our single product DNA also means that all SYSPRO upgrades are seamless."

BCA Group selects K3's integrated fully managed SYSPRO solution
BCA Group -- the advanced caravan wiring systems and electrical components manufacturer and supplier -- is investing over £100,000 in a fully integrated, remotely managed manufacturing solution from K3 Business Technology Group (K3).
BCA Group chose the SYSPRO ERP system as part of the organisation's inward investment programme in automation, mechanisation and facilities to enable further efficiencies.
SYSPRO will replace BCA's existing business system, giving the organisation superior levels of control over its manufacturing, accounting and distribution operations. The new system will incorporate all areas of the business and provide instant visibility to important management information.
"We were aware that we could gain a clearer view of our processes with a fully integrated ERP system. We spent a lot of time and effort reviewing the market, eventually selecting a fully managed SYSPRO solution following visits to other K3 customer sites to see the system in action," says Wim Batist, BCA Group owner and MD.
"We expect SYSPRO to make a huge difference to what we do. The MRP function for example, will give us tighter control over Bills of Material, Which is important as we source components from all over the world. The new system will help balance lead times with manufacturing deadlines," he adds.
K3 Managed Services performed a full review of BCA's existing IT architecture and provided a tailored solution to maximise software performance and enhance IT functionality. This specialist division will also manage all IT for the company through its advanced monitoring and maintenance solution -- K3 Sentinel.
Together with the SYSPRO software, K3 will also supply a new cutting edge server and will upgrade our desktop systems. The advantage of contracting K3 Managed Services to manage our infrastructure means we do not have to worry about our IT - we simply use it," says Wim Batist.
Established in 1981, BCA Group manufactures a complete range of caravan electrical and electronic systems. Its customers include Bailey Caravans, Lunar, Coachman, Elddis and Adria. BCA Group is an ISO 9000 organisation and provides 12 volt and 230 volt electrical systems, plastic components and control systems. Company MD Wim Batist has caravanning in his blood, having been in the industry for over 40 years.
