Intermodal Equipment Parts Selects SYSPRO Based on Superior Functionality.
COSTA MESA, Calif. - January 12, 2010 - SYSPRO, the leading provider of visionary, pragmatic ERP software, has today announced a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) contract from Intermodal Equipment Parts, a leading trailer parts distributors headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
According to Tony Tishler, Intermodal vice president, the firm's desire to gain in-depth insight into operations and better control inventories necessitated the search for an integrated ERP solution. Intermodal stocks thousands of parts for all makes of trailers, maintaining an inventory valued at more than one million dollars.
"We had been using Thoroughbred Software to track financial and operational data; however, it fell short on inventory tracking and would have been very costly to upgrade. This thoroughbred is more of a gelding,"quipped Tishler.
